-- The Illinois College of Optometry (ICO, www.ico.edu)
has announced the winners of the 2015 Alumni Association Awards. A Professional Achievement Award was presented to Aaron E. Lech, OD ’01, FAAO, of Roseville, Calif., for his commitment to the profession of optometry. Dr. Lech has held numerous leadership positions, and lectures on managed care and healthcare reform. He was honored for excellence and leadership in education, philanthropy, and patient care, as well as for his outstanding contributions to ICO and the optometric profession. He is a strong advocate for the profession and an active member of the California Optometric Association’
s Health Care Delivery Systems committee. Dr. Lech also coordinates medical missions to central India. He was recognized during a banquet held on the Odyssey Chicago on September 12.
