Follow on Google News | ![]() Total Airport Services Handles First Air France-KLM Flights at ORDBy: Total Airport Services, LLC “It was a smooth, professional operation,” remarked Jack Evans, TAS CEO, who was in attendance for the opening of this new business line. “The TAS team here in Chicago has performed as promised and really did a fabulous job, as noted by our customer.” Mr. Evans highly praised both Peter Kwintal, TAS ORD’s new account manager, and Carlos Crespo, the project’s supervisor, for successfully completing the first of many ground-handling operations for KLM. He also attributed the company’s extensive experience with handling freighters as a major factor in its sound operations with KLM; the carrier currently uses the Boeing 747 Combi aircraft where the front of the plane carries passengers and the rear holds freight. The airport’s Air France-KLM Station Manager, Hans Jeronimus, and Station Co-Manager, Sunjay Gandhi, both were pleased with the perfect startup of the operations. “I’d like to pass my compliments to the TAS team, who did an excellent job with the startup flight today,” commended Mr. Gandhi. “We departed on time and, most importantly, safely. All of the hard work the team did over the past few months definitely paid off.” End
