MACOMB, Mich. - Nov. 2, 2015 - PRLog -- GraMedica® announces this week an addition to its HyProCure® International Centers of Excellence (COE) at CLINICA SANADOR in Romania. Qualified HyProCure® Master Surgeon at this facility is Dr. Andrei Bogdan. The COE program recognizes expert physicians, medical groups, and health care centers accomplished at performing HyProCure® Extra-Osseous TaloTarsal Stabilization (EOTTS) procedures and providing consummate post-operative care.

Dr. Andrei Bogdan has vast experience in orthopaedic surgery, arthroscopy and sports medicine. Dr. Bogdan is highly-specialized in a full range of surgical options, including minimally invasive surgical techniques, active with hundreds of such operations performed on the knee, ankle or shoulder. Dr. Bogdan is an orthopedist in the SANADOR and Medicover medical systems and is a contributor at Floreasca Emergency Hospital.

CLINICA SANADOR enjoys the newest medical technologies, up-to-date medical equipment, and a team of health care professionals with an extensive expertise. SANADOR operates the largest multi-disciplinary, private hospital in Romania with its outstanding medical team and the complexity of the services provided has turned SANADOR into a benchmark in the private health care sector.

A significant number of children and adults suffer lack of mobility and pain from excessive hindfoot motion, also known as congenital/acquired talotarsal joint dislocation and hyperpronation, a surgically correctable condition that results in the misalignment of the foot and other major structures of the body. The minimally invasive HyProCure® EOTTS procedure provides many patients with immediate and permanent correction for congenital/acquired talotarsal joint dislocation. Left untreated, congenital/acquired talotarsal joint dislocation can lead to serious, long-term foot, knee, hip, and back related issues that often require much more aggressive forms of surgery.

GraMedica® is the Macomb, Michigan developer and manufacturer of HyProCure®, a surgical stent that has been used in over 40,000 procedures worldwide to treat congenital/acquired talotarsal joint dislocation. HyProCure® International Center of Excellence is a program to reach out to a large patient population, designed to increase the awareness and medical services provided by experts in foot and ankle care.
