Sole Savers, Inc Launches New Shoe Vending Machines in Washington, DC Area
Sole Savers launches shoe vending machine in Bliss Nightclub and Harborplace Mall
By: Sole Savers, Inc
The mother-daughter business duo, Teresa Thomas and Melodie Narain, started Sole Savers in September 2015 and wanted to accommodate the ladies that need a good backup shoe. They range in colors from black to gold and even baby pink. “Vending machines are DIY for customers. You don't have to have an employee to service the customers or operate the machine because customers can do it on their own. It's convenient for the business owner and conventional for the customers -- it's a win-win,” says Melodie. In addition to the shoes, Sole Savers targets different charities to make contributions to monthly. In October 2015, for breast cancer awareness, Sole Savers gave to Remember Betty, a charity helping minimize the financial burden associated with breast cancer for patients and survivors.
Entrepreneur and founder Melodie is glad Sole Savers is making an impact in women’s footwear. "Being able to have something so compact to deliver an item that can be so necessary is phenomenal. Any woman who wears heels understands that when your feet are done, they are absolutely done! Seeing our vending machines in real life and watching people use them is unbelievable -- it's a huge ball of joy, anticipation, and fun!"
