Over the past 22 years Technicolor has worked in partnership with DIRECTV to provide a wide range of basic and advanced set-top-boxes for use in the US and throughout Latin America.
In 1993 Technicolor (formerly Thomson) was selected by DIRECTV to design and manufacture the company’s first set-top-box, the DBS-1.
