By: Bel Ari, Les Zygomates The brainchild of owner Mark Tosi, the series was created to showcase the two restaurants and their varying cuisine, while offering guests a modern tasting experience. “I think offering a unique experience like this gives diners’ the opportunity to experience both our restaurants cuisines, our unique wine and cocktail lists and end with live music at Les Zygomates,” said Tosi. Set in a communal seating, the dinners experience will begin at 6:00PM at Bel Ari where guests will start the evening off with small appetizers such as arancini di riso, a stuffed risotto ball with goat cheese, basil & onion marmalade and whipped ricotta with honey, pistachios and sunflower cranberry bread before indulging in a pasta course where choices include penne a la vodka, English peas, cherry tomatoes and spinach in a vodka cream sauce and shrimp & lobster gnocchi with oyster mushrooms and lobster cream sauce. Both courses will be paired with fine Italian wines from Bel Ari’s carefully curated wine list. Next, diners will stroll over to France where they’ll enjoy an entrée and dessert at Les Zygomates. They can choose from beef flat iron rossini served with pomme purée, wild mushrooms, foie gras, truffle and madeira or pistachio-crusted striped bass with roasted potato yukon, sautéed kale, caramelized onions and lemon brown butter followed by vanilla crème brûlée with poached apple napoleon or chilled chocolate cake for dessert. As they indulge their meal paired with wines from Les Zygomates award-winning wine list, guests will hear the soothing sounds of live jazzdrifting from the jazz bar where they’re invited to linger awhile longer and enjoy a signature cocktail or after-dinner drink. Reservations are required as space is limited. Each dinner is $49 per person (tax and gratuity not included), or $75 per person with wine pairing.
