Spooky-Fun Hayride Adventures at Holiday Hill

WILLIMANTIC, Conn. - Oct. 28, 2015 - PRLog -- Mansfield Center, CT - Holiday Hill Day Camp announced today the dates of its Spooky-Fun Halloween Hayride Adventures for October. Adventures take place on Friday and Saturday evenings, October 23, 24, and 30. Camp director Dudley Hamlin commented, “We call them ‘spooky-fun’ because the event is designed for families with young children. Many of our summer day-campers attend these hayrides, and they know Holiday Hill as a fun, welcoming place; not a scare-you-'til-you-cry kind of place. We aim to give you a spook, then make you smile!” Adventures start every half-hour from 6:30 with the last ride starting at 8:00 PM. Each adventure has a hayride, a stage show and a walking tour through the enchanted camp buildings and grounds, with cider and cookies at the end, plus special treats on Halloween night when all are invited to wear costumes! Admission donations are $7 for children under 12, $10 for 12 year-olds and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Proceeds from the event benefit the Gwen Duff American Camp Association Scholarship Program at Holiday Hill. Reservations are highly recommended!
