Eric Kopp of ProEx Physical Therapy to speak at Boston Shoulder & Sports Symposium

BOSTON - Oct. 23, 2015 - PRLog -- ProEx, a physical therapist owned private practice specializing in orthopedics, spine and sports medicine announces that Eric Kopp, Director of Clinical Education, has been invited as a guest speaker at the prestigious Boston Shoulder & Sports Symposium, to be held October 30-31at the Boston Marriott Newton.

The Boston Shoulder & Sports Symposium, sponsored by New England Baptist Hospital is a hands-on bioskills educational program updating state-of-the-art techniques in sports related shoulder and knee surgery and rehabilitation. The symposium is attended by orthopedic surgeons and physical therapists from all over the country.

This marks the third time Kopp has been invited to speak at the prestigious symposium.  He will be among an estimated 40 presenters at the annual conference, which this year celebrates its 20th anniversary.  Kopp will deliver a presentation to an audience of physicians and healthcare providers on “Assessment and Treatment of the Thoracic Spine.”

In addition to treating patients, Eric serves as the Director of Clinical Education for ProEx with a primary role of overseeing the clinical training for all physical therapists employed by ProEx. His teaching experience includes an adjunct faculty position at Quinnipiac University within the Advanced Master’s program; he maintains an active clinical teaching regimen on topics related to orthopedic manual therapy and therapeutic exercise prescription. Kopp was recently appointed adjunct faculty and lead mentor for the Boston University Fellowship in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy.

Kopp, whose practice in orthopedics and sports medicine spans 18 years, is a Full Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists. He has been an active educator in the continuing education field for the last 12 years.
