If we are coming to paint the interior of your home, you will want to move any furniture out of the rooms we will be painting, or at least move everything to the center of the room. If left in the center, we can cover the items with drop cloths to prevent any paint from getting on them. If you need help moving furniture, we can assist when we arrive. We prefer to have at least six feet between where your furniture is placed and the walls. This gives us enough room to do our work safely and efficiently.

It is also important to move any valuables or heirlooms out of the room before we arrive. We always take care to not damage anything while we are at your house, but accidents can happen, so it is better to err on the side of caution. In addition, be sure to remove any electronic devices and store them somewhere else so they will not be inadvertently damaged.

Remove any photos or pictures that are hanging on your walls and put them somewhere safe. You should also remove any drapes or window treatments. Again, if you need assistance with this, let us know and we can help.

If you have any pets or small children, be sure they are kept away from the rooms we are painting. This ensures their safety and also ensures that our painting company’s visit to your home goes smoothly. We also want to prevent any pet hair from ending up in the wet paint.

If we are painting any closets, please make sure all clothes and items are removed before we arrive.
