Andre’ Haynes to moderate SHRM’s November 2015 Meeting

LAS VEGAS - Oct. 22, 2015 - PRLog -- Southern Nevada’s Society for Human Resource Management presents a breakfast meeting on Tuesday, November 10, 2015. United Way of Southern Nevada’s doors will open at 7:30 a.m. and the program concludes at 9:30 a.m. The address is 5830 W. Flamingo Rd., Las Vegas, NV 89103.

Spouses will speak of their challenges of being a military spouse and how that translates to what skills they bring to an employer.

Andre’ Haynes, veteran advocate, will serve as the official moderator. Keynote speakers include Steve Soroko, ESGR Volunteer/Retired Air Force Fighter Pilot and Nevada State Senator Dr. Patricia (Pat) Spearman (D-North Las Vegas). Speakers will discuss the importance/challenges of military to civilian transition.

"Military spouses face a unique challenge of obtaining and retaining gainful employment and a discussion with solutions needs to take place," stated community leader and public speaker, Andre’ Haynes.
