Ideal installer ‘goes the extra mile’ with motorcycle ace
Dave Beeson supports local motorcycling hopeful, Craig Neve.
By: Ideal Boilers
Dave has always been interested in motorbikes and was looking to support a local racer when he was approached by aspiring rider Craig Neve, a full-time electrician at Scunthorpe Steelworks. Dave says he could see Craig’s potential and ambition from their first conversation, “Craig has the drive, ambition and determination to succeed. The first thing I asked him was what he wanted to do and his answer was to win the Isle of Man TT!”
Impressed by this, Dave agreed to be one of Craig’s sponsors and in a classic example of thinking ‘outside the box’ used his Ideal Installer Connect points and the Installer Connect Marketing Toolbox to get decals for Craig’s racing helmet, ensuring great prominence for both his business and Ideal’s brand.
Craig is determined to make the most of the opportunities his talent brings. In addition to vital family support from his father who makes race fairings and is his mechanic, he has attracted sponsorship from other local businesses. Craig understands the requirements that go with the job, ensuring he’s available for meet and greet events, bringing the sport closer to the fans. This year has seen him achieve consistent top 10 results and wins in the GB Thundersport series and an impressive run in the Isle of Man GP.
Dave feels that sponsoring Craig is the personification of his business, “It’s not just about profit, but also about helping people through great products, advice and service, and through support.
“It’s a privilege to be able to support Craig as he climbs his way up the racing ladder. I’m looking forward to cheering him on at next year’s Isle of Man Grand Prix series.”
