John Walsh, CEO of SightSpan Security USA Appointed To Alarm Board of North Carolina Department of Public Safety

Raleigh, NC, October 19, 2015 – SightSpan, a leading provider of risk management and security solutions, today announced John Walsh, CEO SightSpan, has been appointed to the Alarm Board by the North Carolina Private Protective Services.

The North Carolina Protective Services Alarm Systems Licensing Board administers the licensing, education and training requirements for persons, firms, associations and corporations engaged in the alarm systems business in North Carolina. The board is totally fee funded and staffed by departmental employees directed on a daily basis by the director.  Mr. Walsh received his appointment from the office of the Governor of North Carolina. John’s Responsibilities at that of the of the Board and its staff include performing background investigations for the licensing of alarm systems occupations, Registering employees of licensed companies, Conducting investigations of public complaints, Conducting compliance audits and Enforcing law and rules through administrative disciplinary processes and the courts
