A Kind Citizen Gives Deputies a Gift Card and THANKS Them for the Service to the Community

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Oct. 20, 2015 - PRLog -- A Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office Deputy had a heartwarming encounter with a member of the community at a restaurant. In the words of PBSO Deputy Rashtchy, "I was having dinner with another Deputy on Saturday night (10/17/15) at Chipotle. While we were eating, a gentleman walked by and put a gift card in front of both of us, thanked us for our service and walked away. We immediately got up to thank him and let him know it is our job and how much we enjoy doing it.

What was truly remarkable is his comment about us leaving our family for dinner on a regular basis and having dinner together at work. He recognized this as a great sacrifice that we make.

This was a very humbling experience because we both noticed that he was a hardworking citizen wanting to make a difference in our lives, and he did! This is also not the first time this has happened to me. It is so encouraging to see the support we receive on a regular basis from the public in Palm Beach County."

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office wants to recognize this exceptional member of the community for acknowledging the efforts our police men and woman.
