Home Helpers Expands Across Central Arkansas to Serve More Seniors

Oct. 19, 2015 - PRLog -- Recognizing that most seniors want to remain in their own homes as long as possible, and that in-home care can help them do just that, Pete & Debbie McIndoe are pleased to announce the opening of Home Helpers/Jacksonville – serving Conway, North Little Rock, Jacksonville, Searcy and everywhere in between. Through an alliance with existing franchisees Sam & Holly Sellers, Home Helpers & Direct Link can now serve residents across Central Arkansas.

When the McIndoes decided to launch their own Home Helpers business, they were introduced to Sam & Holly Sellers, who own the adjacent Home Helpers territory in the Little Rock area. The Sellers’ business has been operating eight years and the alliance provided an opportunity to share resources and better serve communities throughout the central part of the state. Through this collaboration Home Helpers and Direct Link now serves Benton, Bryant, Hot Springs, Little Rock, North Little Rock, Maumelle, Mayflower, Conway, Jacksonville, Beebe, Cabot, Searcy, and all of Lonoke County as well as the surrounding areas.

“Sam has established his business and already has a great team in place. Creating this partnership provided an opportunity for us to all work together to provide the best in-home care for clients across a larger region,” Pete said.

Pete’s is the commensurate business/marketing-guy and Debbie the nursing/educator/patient-care professional.  Pete’s background includes 26 years at Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati in both operations and brand management/marketing, two years at LensCrafters as the senior marketing director and then more than three years at Little Rock-based FamilyLife, a para-church marriage and family ministry, leading marketing and operations. Debbie is a Masters-prepared nurse who educates future nurses as Baptist Health College of Nursing in Little Rock.  She has inspired and developed nurses for more than 20 years and, prior to that, served as a counselor/social-worker working for LifeWay Counseling in Ohio.  They both have a passion for serving the whole person – emotionally, physically, intellectually and spiritually.

We are humbled and thrilled to provide compassionate in-home care to the people of Central Arkansas,” Pete said. “I’ve always wanted to own my own business and, when my season at FamilyLife ended, Debbie and I decided it was time to pursue that dream.”

The selection process we go through allows us to bring on the most reliable and dependable caregivers in the area and we will be matching caregivers and clients based on personalities, needs and qualifications. When they’re not working, Pete and Debbie can be found spending time with their international family of eight teenagers – four biological and four adopted.
