LA Personal Trainer Bites Dog!
By: Trainer King
Trainer King was recording an outdoor training video for his book "The Eat What You Want Stair Diet." While recording, a neighbor and her dog were viciously attacked by a stray. It fiercely began to bite the dog while its owner stood frozen. King quickly ran across the street attempting to pull the stray off the now bleeding schnauzer. After fighting to free the dog for more than a minute, King bit the stray dog causing it to let go and run.
King said "it was the only thing I could do to get him to let go.” Authorities are currently searching for the owner of the stray dog and investigating the spike of attacks in the area. In 1999 Wilshire Division police officers joined forces with the city's Department of Animal Services to capture stray dogs as part of operation Dog Pack. The officials estimate that as many as 44,000 stray dogs were roaming the streets. Has the number increased? Is the stray problem here to stay? When asked would you do it again King said "Yes. I love animals and would hope someone would do the same for me. My friends joke and ask how did the dog taste? My reply is always no comment." The owner reports little Dakota’s wounds were minimal and she’s back to normal.
