Tudor Halloween - Stratford upon Avon!

STRATFORD-UPON-AVON, U.K. - Oct. 19, 2015 - PRLog -- Halloween is sure to be a spooky event at Tudor World in Stratford-upon-Avon, cited as the ‘Most Haunted building in England’ by Horrible Histories Author Terry Deary and appearing on cult TV series Most Haunted.

The tradition of bonfires, ghosts and otherworldly phenomena held a special place for the Tudors. In Tudor England the Twelfth Night marked the end of an autumn/winter festival that started on All Hallows Eve, which is now celebrated as Halloween: the day when the veil between the worlds becomes the thinnest and the souls of the dead supposedly returned to walk the earth.

With that in mind, Tudor World will be having lantern lit ghost tours of the ancient building; ghost tour of the town with Ebenezor Crouch with accompanying mulled wine; family friendly ghost tours with Mr G Buster; a dungeon master during the showing some of the darker side of the Tudors; plus a trail and prizes for the children. Anyone feeling really brave has the opportunity to attend overnight ghost hunts until the wee hours!
