Rockford Capital Acquires Salisbury, MD Shopping Center

SALISBURY, Md. - Oct. 18, 2015 - PRLog -- Rockford Capital Partners is pleased to announce the acquisition of the College Square Shopping Center, a retail center neighboring Salisbury University in Salisbury, Maryland. Rockford Capital acquired the property on behalf of its affiliated value-add investment vehicle, Rockford Real Estate Fund III.

College Square Shopping Center is an 86,442 square foot retail center anchored by Planet Fitness and Ace Hardware.  Rockford Capital acquired the building at 56% occupancy and will be making enhancements to the property to attract new tenants. Situated on West College Avenue in close proximity to the growing Salisbury University, College Square is well positioned to cater to both the university-related population and the south Salisbury communities.  To market the currently available 38,000 square feet of space, Rockford Capital has engaged KLNB’s Kevin Barrett as the exclusive leasing agent.
