Nonprofit PEI Kids Throws its 10th Annual Wine & Food Tasting Fundraiser

LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. - Oct. 16, 2015 - PRLog -- Nearly 500 guests are expected to be in attendance at PEI Kids’ 10^th Annual Wine & Food Tasting which is being held on Friday, October 23^rd, at the Landmark Aviation hangar located at Trenton-Mercer Airport. This signature fundraising event features food and wine from over 20 local restauranteurs along with wine distributors affiliated with Trenton Fine Wine & Liquors located in Ewing. As part of the agency’s 30th anniversary celebration, guests will also enjoy a slice of PEI Kids’ celebratory anniversary cake.

“This event is truly a community collaboration bringing together local vendors, service providers, restauranteurs and bakeries who donate their goods and services to make it a success every year. This fundraising event is critical since it generates much-needed program funding to help us continue delivering valuable programs and services throughout the year at no cost to children or their families,” said Roz Dashiell, PEI Kids’ Executive Director.

The event is produced thanks to the support of sponsors and in-kind services donated by restaurants, wine retailers, Interstate Motorsport – which provides foreign and exotic cars for display – Mercer County Golf Academy, Pinot’s Palette, Front Row Seat Productions, and Direct Approach Aviation (DAA) -- which will be providing tours of their private jet on display. One lucky winner will also receive a ride for six in one of DAA’s private jets – a donated prize which PEI Kids will raffle at the event.

About PEI Kids
Since 1985, PEI Kids’ mission has been dedicated to promoting and maintaining a safe environment for all children by providing Prevention/Education and Intervention programs relating to personal safety; sexual abuse; bullying, juvenile crime prevention, and the overall well-being of the child.
