Follow on Google News | Matilda Jane Clothing Seeks Savannah Area Nonprofits for Philanthropic ProgramCompany Now Accepting Applications for Fall 2015 Janes Give Back Program.
By: ctpr “Philanthropy is at the heart of Matilda Jane Clothing and we are excited to reach out to Savannah area nonprofits and share this exciting program with them,” said Robyn Shirley, Savannah area Team Leader and Trunk Keeper. “The program is a direct result of our independent Trunk Keepers asking for the company to support them in their efforts to help charitable organizations.” In the previous Janes Give Back Program, held this past spring, local Trunk Keepers presented a check for more than $1,000 to Pritchardville Elementary School in Bluffton, SC. They also hosted a Mother-Daughter Chari-TEA and presented a check for $500 to the Next Generation’s Angel Wings campaign for a special neonatal unit transport ambulance for The Children’s Hospital at Memorial University Medical Center. Organizations wishing to apply for the Fall 2015 Janes Give Back Program must be qualified charitable agencies per IRS publication 526. Examples include nonprofit charities, nonprofit educational organizations, nonprofit hospitals and religious organizations. “With a maximum donation level of 20%, this is a perfect time to invite everyone you know to a show, because the level of participation drives the donation level,” Shirley added. “Matilda Jane also will be randomly drawing one Trunk Show to win a $1,000 bonus contribution, and I would love it if we could present that check right here in the Savannah area.” For more information and to apply for the program, call Robyn Shirley at 843-384-3842 or email robyns@matildajaneclothing.com.
