– Lolita Buford, Cedric Cobb and Porscha Sargent of The Onyx Group Partnership will host The Onyx Bridal Affair Pre-Launch Event taking place at Ces & Judy’s Catering - 10405 Clayton Road St. Louis, MO 63131 on Thursday, October 29^th 2015 from 6:30pm - 9:30pm. The event will feature representatives from The Sheldon Concert Hall & Art Galleries and a live performance by the Sheldon’s North County Big Band, under the direction of jazz saxophonist, Harvey Lockhart. The Onyx Bridal Affair Pre-Launch Event is an event to introduce the groundbreaking vision behind the Onyx Bridal Affair to potential exhibitors, sponsors and St. Louis community leaders and media representatives.

The Onyx Group is proud to bring The Onyx Bridal Affair to The Sheldon Concert Hall and Art Galleries for the first time on Saturday, February 20, 2016 from 11AM-5PM; the October 29^th Pre-Launch Event will introduce this dynamic initiative to the St. Louis bridal and business communities.

The Onyx Bridal Affair is unlike any other bridal show in the Midwest!  Placing the spotlight on the underrepresented, multicultural bride and groom, the Onyx Bridal Affair is a catered, multi-level, luxury experience that will feature top wedding professionals and services; A “Real Talk” chat session with Celebrity Bride and Groom, Olympic Gold Medalist Dawn Harper-Nelson and Alonzo Nelson; an expert wedding panel featuring representatives from The Knot and Perfect Wedding Guide; The Groom’s Man Cave Experience; The Bridal Boutique and The VIP Fashion and Music Bridal Showcase featuring local music artist, Kenny DeShields and jazz saxophonist, Harvey Lockhart. In keeping with The Onyx Group’s commitment to support the St. Louis community, a portion of all proceeds will benefit the remarkably talented students of The Sheldon’s North County Big Band.  The Band is comprised of students from several St. Louis area high schools, including Riverview Gardens, Normandy, Central Visual and Performing Arts, Hazelwood and University City.
