The growth of scope of FELB's business activity due to the integration into UTLC Group

 
Oct. 16, 2015 - PRLog -- FarEastLandBridge (FELB), subsidiary of JSC RZD Logistics, has finished the integration process into the system of UTLC group of companies that has considerably improved FELB's potential for international business. From now on, services of FELBare also available for the customers through the existing sales system of UTLC Group - TransContainer and RZD Logistics. The resources for the transports are provided by UTLC Group, including the rolling stock, terminals, containers, as well as exclusive information technologies and logistic solutions.

FELB was founded with the aim of railway container transportation development on the Asia – Europe – Asia route and is market leader in this business segment.

The first Vice-President of UTLC Pavel Sokolov: «During the whole period of the company business activities, the firm has proven stable growth of the indicators that confirms the Chinese and European companies´ demand for land route transportations with minimal delivery times. The company has acquired exclusive technologies enabling to reach transit time down to 10 days. In the current year FELBwill reach over 40 thousands TEU, despite the difficult economic situation».

In 2015 decisions supporting the growth of FELB were made in order to expand its activities not only by the means of offering transit services but also export-import directions from and to the CIS countries´ territories.

Involvement of technological and intellectual resources of UTLC Group companies will enable FELBto continue the task of developing the route network on Asia – Europe – Asia directions and to integrate the multimodal logistics chains.

­The main priority in the JSC UTLC business activity is the development of complex logistics products. At the moment the group of companies is consolidating efforts to organise transportations out of the developed Chinese regions in direction of the big European logistic centres. Regular departures are organised on the routes Suzhou – Warsaw, Wuhan – Hamburg, Changchun – Duisburg, Changsha — Hamburg. FELB's logistic service is oriented towards multinational producers of high-tech products, as the transport time shortening is the key factor for them. FELB's competencies are seen by the UTLC group as key ones in its ambition to boost trade and strengthen international trade relations with the countries of Asia-Pacific area, where Chinese Republic is the first priority.
