Anchor Media Group, LLC announces Video on Demand for Two Popular Films

CHARLESTON, S.C. - Oct. 14, 2015 - PRLog -- Anchor Media Group, LLC, a worldwide content producer and distributor for home entertainment and broadcast programming with its headquarters in Charleston, South Carolina, announces Video on Demand for two of their most popular films.

“Circle Unbroken – A Gullah Journey from Africa to America” was recently broadcast on PBS and due to numerous requests, it has now been made available for streaming or download from their website.

Starring Anita Singleton-Prather, The First Lady of Gullah™, it also features an homage to the victims of the Mother Emanuel Church shooting. Gullah spiritual music is mixed with historic and informative narrative and lavish imagery that tells the real story from the horrors of the middle passage slave voyages including Civil War history to the ultimate celebration of freedom. This is the untold account of black history in America.

It is estimated that 75% of the West Africans brought to America during the slave trade entered the country through ports in the Lowcountry; the home of Gullah. This suggests that half or more of today’s African Americans can trace their roots in America to South Carolina.

The second film, “America’s Rifle – The M1 Garand”, tells the story of what General George S. Patton called the “Greatest Battle Implement Ever Devised.” This groundbreaking combination of ingenuity, industrial mass production and firepower helped turn the US into a superpower.

Previously aired on PBS, this new edition includes the director’s cut with bonus content, rare archival footage and first-person accounts by combat veterans. The film was made possible by the Garand Collectors Association.
