Awards Dinner to Honor ARF's Heroes

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - Oct. 13, 2015 - PRLog -- WALNUT CREEK, California – October 13, 2015 – Honor ARF’s heroes at the 4^th Annual ARF Awards Dinner on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at 6 pm at Round Hill Country Club in Alamo, California. Guests will enjoy a multifaceted celebration of special recipients who have helped make ARF’s vision for animals a reality through their incredible service and leadership. Hope Award - Carrie Morgridge, Philanthropist and Author
The Hope Award, named for an ARF dog who overcame many obstacles to stand on all four feet, salutes those who truly embody the human-animal bond.

Evie Award - Karri Kennedy,US Department of Veteran Affairs
Named for the cat who inspired ARF’s creation, the Evie Award is presented each year for excellence in the compassionate care of companion animals.

Community Spirit Award - Denise Rossiter, ARF Volunteer
The Community Spirit Award honors volunteers for their important leadership contributions to ARF.

Media Award – KTVU
The Media Award recognizes excellence in positive portrayals of animals by the media and elevation of ARF’s mission to a local and national audience.
