HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, N.J. - Oct. 13, 2015 - PRLog -- World-renowned physicians and thought-leaders will come together this fall for the cosmetic dermatology event of the year. The Fifth Annual New Frontiers in Cosmetic Medicine (NFCM) Symposium will take place Nov. 21–22, 2015, at the Hilton Hasbrouck Heights/Meadowlands in Hasbrouck Heights, N.J. This unique, one-and-half-day meeting will showcase the latest developments in cosmetic dermatology, cosmetic medicine, and anti-aging medicine. This is a highly focused forum, featuring innovative didactic sessions and live patient demonstrations geared to physicians and practitioners in the field of cosmetic medicine interested in adding and expanding these facets of their practice.

“The NFCM Symposium is a great opportunity for all cosmetic medicine practitioners, including physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants, to learn about the latest trends and developments in cosmetic medicine, cosmetic dermatology, and anti-aging medicine. In addition, this year, NFCM offers more time to network with colleagues and visit the exhibit hall with over 20 exhibitors," said David J. Goldberg, MD, JD, chief of dermatology and director of Skin Laser & Surgery Specialists of NY/NJ and founder of the symposium.

This year, the symposium will be held at a new location at the Hilton Hasbrouck Heights/Meadowlands in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ from Saturday, November 21 until Sunday, November 22.

“This is a great meeting that I look forward to every year! The faculty and presentations are always of the highest quality, and it is invigorating and inspiring, said Margarita Lolis, MD, previous attendee. “I’m especially excited about the live patient workshop this year, and the sessions on how to manage an efficient practice.”

Attendees will have access to almost two full days of scientific sessions. Session highlights include:

• Emerging trends in cosmetic medicine

• Advanced techniques in the use and application of neurotoxins and dermal fillers for facial enhancement

• Lasers and light technologies available for skin resurfacing and treatment of vascular lesions

• Innovations in the management and treatment of acne and rosacea

• Risk management strategies for preventing legal issues in cosmetic medicine

Additionally, expert faculty will demonstrate safe and effective injection techniques through an interactive live patient workshop taking place on Sunday, November 22. This symposium will provide attendees with transferable skills and related techniques that can quickly and easily be adapted to their current practice environment, in addition to earning continuing education credits.
