Friends of Detroit Meals on Wheels provides meals to homebound seniors who are currently on the waitlist of the Detroit Meals on Wheels program. Meals are delivered by Detroit Area Agency on Aging staff and community volunteers who use their own vehicles Monday-Friday for delivery. The number of seniors on the waitlist is approximately 1,500. The Toyo Tire donation helps address the gap of those who are on the waitlist and the tires helps the volunteers who are driving their own vehicles for daily meal deliveries. www.DetroitSeniorSolution.com
