David Bell Joins American Business Lending

NEW YORK - Oct. 9, 2015 - PRLog -- American Business Lending, Inc. (ABL), a Dallas-based, non-bank participant in the Small Business Administration (SBA) 7(a) lending program, announced that David Bell has been hired as a Senior Vice President of Business Development. Bell will be based in the Greater New York City area and will originate new SBA 7(a) loans on a national basis.

Bell has participated nationally in the Small Business Administration’s Preferred Lender Program since the mid-1990s. He also helped to set up two community bank SBA programs before he became a Vice President and Account Executive of CIT Small Business Lending and GE Capital Franchise Finance. As a result, several of those previous companies received SBA awards due to his active leadership with the program. Most recently, he served as Vice President, SBA Loan Officer at Fulton Bank of New Jersey, where the bank earned a place in the state’s 2014 “Top 15 SBA Lenders.”

“David’s career history shows he is an accomplished loan originator for SBA 7(a) loans and has extensive experience especially in originating SBA-franchise related loans,” said ABL CEO Charlie Bell. “We definitely feel ABL will benefit from his strong ties in the franchise industry and that they will open great new opportunities for the company in that field.”

Bell earned a BA in Business Communications from Ohio State University and is a candidate for an MS in Organizational Management from Cairn University. He is active in various community affairs, including being on the Executive Leadership Team for the local March of Dimes organization, heading up its 2015 Walk-a-thon. David has been an active participant in the National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders (NAGGL) Region II Liaison Committee since 2008.
