Hot Tubs Mad River Valley - Allen Pools & Spas Offers More than Just Pink Hot Tubs

WILLISTON, Vt. - Oct. 8, 2015 - PRLog -- Williston, VT –Vermont’s oldest and largest pool and spa dealer, Allen Pools and Spas, is making a splash this October to support breast cancer awareness month. From pink hot tub displays, to thousands of dollars in donations, to company-wide groups participating in local American Cancer Society walks, Allen Pools and Spas has a special connection to this cause.

Owner and CEO Ed Allen, lost his sister to breast cancer and since then Allen’s employees have rallied around the cause both in-store and in the community. “I really appreciate the support and the effort everyone puts in this time of year. It’s truly a great cause that means a lot to me personally, and I’m proud of my team”, explains Allen.

During the month of October, all three stores in Rutland, White River Junction, and Williston will be decked out in pink, featuring the infamous pink hot tub. Throughout the month they will be collecting donations in addition to offering special deals to those who donate.  They will also give large sums of money to the American Cancer Society by donating $100 dollars to breast cancer research for every hot tub sold in October.

General Manager, Kim Ghigliotty, feels that it is the best time of the year for Allen’s. “Last year we donated $3,000 through spa sales and we’re hoping to hit $7,000 this year through all of our fundraising efforts. There is always a great atmosphere in the stores during October because we know we’re working to help others. Also we are very excited to announce that we will be raffling off one of our pink hot tubs to a lucky donor.” Additionally, Hot Springs Spas (Team Watkins) will be donating a portion of all pink hot tub sales in the month of October to the National Breast Cancer Foundation!

Allen Pools and Spas will be participating in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Chittenden County Walk on October 18^th, 2015. They encourage customers and community members to join their team, The Pink Hot Tubbers, on this meaningful day.
