SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Oct. 7, 2015 - PRLog -- Pley, the leading toy rental company, is delighted to announce that it has won the first ever Salesforce Small Business, Big Impact Contest, a contest designed to recognize the incredible impact a small business or charity has on its industry and consumers.

Nearly 650 companies from across the States and Canada entered the contest to compete for the winning place and more than $50,000 in prizes including $25,000 in Salesforce product to help advance the most inspiring small business solutions.

Judging the entries were celebrity judges and industry insiders including the powerful business and media leader, Russell Simmons, co-founder of the hip hop label Def Jam; award-winning business reporter Lisa Chow; Byron Deeter, one of Silicon Valley’s most renowned entrepreneurs; and Daniel Debow, Senior Vice President of Emerging Technologies at Salesforce.

After whittling down 600+ entries to just 5 companies, each of the semi-finalists got the chance to pitch to the judges how their business solution is driving change before the winner was announced. In front of a live audience at Dreamforce, the other 4 finalists who pitched alongside Pley, included Suneris, PresenceLearning, Latitude and Zola Windows. Each company was judged on how innovative its product or service offering was and the positive impact the business has on its customers, employees or the community.
