Writers Resource Center Announces New “Developing Authors Series” Credentialed Writing Program

FAIRFIELD, Calif. - Oct. 6, 2015 - PRLog -- Members of the Writers Resource Center (WRC) will kick-off a new credentialed writing program, the “Developing Authors Series,” at their next meeting.  Participants will complete a 12-part structured curriculum that covers all aspects of writing, from developing writing skills to book design and marketing.  Those who complete the series successfully will receive a proficiency certificate at the end of the course.  The new venture will be discussed at WRC’s next meeting on Saturday, October 10 from 10 am to 12 noon at 1745 Enterprise Drive, Fairfield, room 113.  Admission is free for members; non-members pay a small fee.  Complementary refreshments will be served.  For more information please visit the group’s website at www.wrcnoca.com . “We will be offering any writer, novice or experienced, an in-depth look at all aspects of writing and an opportunity to become a seasoned, published author over the next 12 months,” says WRC President Janie P. Bess. Attendees should bring a binder to hold course materials and their own writing supplies or electronic devices.

The Writing Resource Center is Solano County’s oldest book writing group, celebrating its 12th anniversary this year.

Holiday Party Planned

WRC will hold its annual holiday part on Saturday, December 12, at Chez Soul Restaurant in Fairfield.  Everyone is invited to come share holiday cheer, read excerpts from their books, participate in book signings and sell their handcrafted goods. More news about the event will be announced next month.
