JMI Reports names Ron Uline as VP of Field Operations

CLEVELAND - Oct. 6, 2015 - PRLog -- JMI Announces the Hiring of Ronald J. Uline as VicePresident of Field Operations.

Uline comes from an extensive military background, retiring this year as Lieutenant Colonel with the U.S. Air Force.

A Cleveland native, he graduated from Kent State University, earning a degree in aerospace engineering technology and then joined the U.S. Air Force, first serving as an operations officer and then a flight commander. Throughout his military career, he served in many leadership positions including being a senior program manager/operations officer for the Joint Staff at the Pentagon, and as director of operations for the 451st Flying Training Squadron in Pensacola, Fl.

From 2011 to 2012, he was deputy director/director of operations for the HQ United States Forces in Kabul, Afghanistan, directing 225 people at headquarters and supervising seven managers.

Most recently, he was director of strategic planning at JFCC Global Strike in Omaha, NE before deciding to retire from the military and move into civilian work.

While he loved his career in the military, Uline said he and his wife, Laurie, wanted to move with their three daughters back to the Cleveland area where he has family and where he could find a job in the private sector. He hopes to use his many years of leadership in the experience overseeing the nine field operations managers at JMI.

"Throughout my career, I have managed people who are geographically separated," he said recognizing that JMI's managers reside and work all over the country. "However, I believe that you don't really manage people. You lead people and manage things, butyou can only do that effectively if there is a relationship there."
