Synopsis: Four hundred years after advent of interplanetary communications and space travel capabilities, the star systems of the Megna-Terran galaxy began space exploration and discovered one another. As they reached out to neighboring worlds, the peaceful curiosity that existed with first contact quickly changed to fear and paranoia when warlike worlds, like Delta-Linus, motivated by greed, preyed on the peaceful and benevolent. Governor Eidell Isolde of Paldaar became the driving force behind an initiative against interplanetary aggression. Heading up a small coalition called the Interstellar Council of Megna-Terran; For nearly five years, the galactic conflict raged until, one by one, star systems that tasted Morgan’s cruelty joined forces with the Interstellar Alliance and met the remnant of Morgan’s forces one last time in the skies over Bellaseen. With Morgan’s demise, the stellar navies of Delta-Linus, Apgar, and Baldaninus surrendered unconditionally, thus, the Interstellar Alliance established a Treaty of Reconciliation with those worlds allied with Morgan. Now, five months later, with most of the military hostilities cooled down, the Megna-Terran galaxy was at peace, or so it seemed. In the hearts of the victors, bitterness and thoughts of retribution came to the forefront as the new representatives to the Interstellar Council gathered for their second meeting on Paldaar. The Council chamber echoed with chaotic voices as each representative of the fifteen star systems, spoke out of turn desiring preeminence over the others. “In her continuing Isolde’s Initiative Series, novelist J.A. Taylor presents yet another masterful work of page-turning suspense,” said Kathie McGuire, director of Brighton Publishing. Janet Ann Taylor was born in in Estill County, Kentucky, and grew up in Hamilton, Ohio. She resides in Colonial Beach, Virginia, surrounded by family, close friends, and her spoiled cocker spaniel named Tassie. End
