GLOBO Provides Global Interpretation for Pope Francis During World Meeting of Families Papal Visit

GLOBO and its team of interpreters was charged with interpreting Pope Francis’ remarks into 6 different languages — English, Spanish, Italian, French, Portuguese and Vietnamese — when Pope Francis visited Philadelphia for the closing events of the World Meeting of Families on September 26-27. The GLOBO team provided live, simultaneous interpretation for Pope Francis’ Mass for the People of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia at Cathedral Basilica of Sts. Peter and Paul, his speech at Independence Hall, the activities at the Festival of Families and the Papal Mass on Philadelphia’s Benjamin Franklin Parkway.

The World Meeting of Families, a tri-annual event sponsored by the Holy See’s Pontifical Council for the Family, is a week-long international event of prayer and celebration that  attracts participants from over 150 nations.
