Allison Woodford to Chair Art in Motion – American Cancer Society benefit November 14, 2015

PLANO, Texas - Oct. 5, 2015 - PRLog -- Art in Motion, Moving to a Cure will be held Saturday, November 14, 2015, 7:00pm at the Noah Event Center in Plano, TX and will benefit The American Cancer Society.  This year’s event will be chaired by Allison Woodford.  Management consulting executive, Woodford is founder of Woodford & Associates, Inc. a personal growth and leadership development company.  The company’s mission is to develop leaders and environments that unleash human potential.  She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Master of Science Degree in Communication from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, in Troy New York.

Woodford has 20 years of management consulting experience providing great insight to how organizations work.  Her consulting career includes extensive work in change management, organizational development, information technology and business operations.  She has led global teams embracing the diversity of people from over 90 countries and 17 languages.  Her collaborative leadership style effectively supports her pursuit of operational excellence and innovative problem solving.  She is recognized for her commitment to leader development and personal growth for teams and individuals at all organizational levels and in all career paths.

Journey into an interactive night filled with lights, sound, movement, artistry and glitz as you enjoy a variety of food and beverages in a cocktail party-like setting. Prepare to be mesmerized by the creativity of musicians, movement performers and visual artists chosen to intrigue and inspire your senses.  Numerous local art groups will perform through out the evening showcasing each individual expression of artistic ability.  Survivors and caretakers of various types of cancer will present throughout the evening their experiences and share highlights of their journey.
