-- EuroTAR 2015 is a comprehensive four day event featuring a conference packed with real-life case studies as well as workshops and a unique project simulation course on shutdown and turnaround management. Taking place 1-4 December, 2015, in Amsterdam, this event is designed to bring together industry peers to meet and discuss current challenges, solutions and new strategies.
With a mix of theory, interactive learning, information sharing, and peer-to-peer networking attendees will gain valuable tips, approaches and lessons learned from experts and practitioners from across Europe. Industry representatives from BASF, BP Refinery Rotterdam, Covestro, Essent, Evonik, PKN Orlen, SABIC, Scottish Power, Statoil and many more will be sharing their experiences. They will discuss proven procedures and trends on turnaround strategies, schedule risk management, scope management, budgeting and costs as well as health and safety standards and contractor management.
Pre-Conference workshops on Integrated Turnaround Risk Management and Turnaround Reviews allow attendees to boost their knowledge and discuss in smaller, interactive groups. Furthermore, the unique TARfighter simulation training presents a realistic model of a plant turnaround and takes attendees through the key project phases.
This event offers a great opportunity to take a step back from the day-to-day pressure and risk, and truly evaluate approaches to major maintenance works and plant shutdowns/turnarounds and outages.
