The ceremony was led by owners Aaron Bakken and Jim Thorpe, and attended by many, including the Fitchburg Chamber (http://www.fitchburgchamber.com/). The third owner, Steve Steidl, was unfortunately unable to attend.

When you first walk into Rockin’ Jump expect to be “wowed” by the huge rock climbing wall, the expansive size of the park, and the bright colors found throughout. Friendly and helpful employees are readily available, the play environment is spotless, and the constant music encourages a fun and active atmosphere.

“The Madison market is full of families with many, many months of bad weather to endure. Creating a premium indoor play facility for these families makes great business sense given the limited offerings available in this market area,” says Aaron Bakken, who was previously selling the franchise for several years before becoming an owner himself. Being a Middleton-native, Bakken is quite familiar with the market area needs. “This is a flagship park for our national brand. All of our future parks are being modeled after the design and amenities we’ve put into this facility.”

Selecting a location central to the population centers of the metro area and close to major highways was an essential part of the owners’ strategy. They decided on the Novation Campus so that their park was no more than 20-30 minutes away from 75% of the population of Dane County. Most days at Rockin’ Jump consist of several hundred people coming through the doors to participate in the open jump play time, with scores of additional people coming to the park to attend someone’s birthday party. In addition to open jump play time, the park offers a late night Friday trampoline “dance” party for tweens and teens, a tots program for kids 6 and under with their parents 3 mornings per week, and will soon be offering trampoline fitness classes and dodgeball tournaments.
