equaTEK participates in Philanthropy Challenge: George Eastman Photo Finish 5k to benefit Embrace Yo

ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Sept. 28, 2015 - PRLog -- equaTEK has organized a team of runners and walkers for the upcoming George Eastman House Photo Finish 5k, also known as the Philanthropy Challenge.  Companies from all over Rochester, NY join forces to fundraise for their favorite charities.  This year’s race is scheduled for Saturday, October 3rd, 2015.

equaTEK's Director of Marketing, Wendy K Emerson, has organizes teams and participated as a runner in this event for the past several years. She brings her excitement for this event to equaTEK, who has many local not-for-profit clients.

“They’re more than just clients to us,” Emerson said.  “We want to help them be as successful as possible in serving the needs of those who benefit from what they do.“

equaTEK has made a commitment to select a non-profit client at random each year to support and will continue to participate in this 5k challenge. 2015 is their first year, and they anticipate a team of over 30 walkers and runners for Embrace Your Sisters.
