Rayon Lighting Lights Two Planet Fitness Centers In The Greater Los Angeles Area

INGLEWOOD, Calif. - Sept. 28, 2015 - PRLog -- Rayon Lighting successfully installed Induction High Bays in the brand new Inglewood and West Covina fitness centers.  Planet Fitness and Rayon Lighting worked closely together to select an energy efficient fixture that would enhance the appeal of the center and provide sufficient light for gym-users and employees.  Currently, these locations are utilizing Rayon Lighting’s 22” Faceted Aluminum Induction High Bay (T1082IND-200-FA), with a 200 watt induction lamp and driver.  Planet Fitness decided to go with a faceted aluminum reflector to achieve a larger light spread across each center, therefore, reducing the number of light fixtures required per location.  In order to maintain an upbeat environment in both locations, Rayon Lighting suggested that Planet Fitness should go with a higher kelvin temperature lamp.  As such, each center has a 5000 Kelvin color temperature induction lamp that provides a day light appearance.  Even after sun down, gym-users will have an elevated spirit once entering these facilities.

Planet Fitness will benefit greatly with Rayon Lighting’s induction high bay.  These lighting systems are a great source for energy efficiency by lowering utility costs and will provide significant maintenance savings by utilizing induction fixture with 100,000 hours life.  Planet Fitness will save approximately 50% in comparison to traditional HID fixtures.
