Austin Family Chiropractic hosts final "Light Night" Event of 2015

VIRDEN, Ill. - Sept. 28, 2015 - PRLog -- Dr. Todd Austin, D.C. & Eugena Austin, L.M.T. held a free Thursday evening "Light Night" event at the Effective & Affordable Cold Laser Clinic located at Austin Family Chiropractic in Virden, IL on September 17, 2015.  The clinic strives to hold one of these events monthly during the warm weather months of May through September.  The topics covered were using Cold Laser Therapy and Far Infrared Heat Therapy (both of which are classified as "Healing Light Therapies") for pain relief, relief of chronic ailments and improved overall health.

Dr. Todd spoke about both Cold Laser Therapy and Far Infrared.  Then Eugena spoke about how Far Infrared Heat Therapy helped her lose 80 pounds along with eating gluten-free and how both of these healing light therapies sped up her recovery after a recent knee injury.

Dr. Austin has been utilizing Cold Lasers for pain relief in his clinic for over 10 years now, where he has delivered 21,000 plus cold laser treatments.  Over the past couple of years, in his capacity as a Chiropractic Cold Laser Therapist, he has co-managed many cases with and received a fair amount of referrals from Medical Doctors for issues such as: bone on bone knee arthritis, torn (shoulder) rotator cuffs, osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis of the hands and post-surgical knee pain after a torn ACL or meniscus was repaired.  He is also one of the most well-known Cold Laser Therapy video bloggers in the U.S. with his online show called "ColdLaser.TV".

Light Night is always a free event which is held one Thursday each month from May through September at Austin Family Chiropractic.  It is for AFC's patients, patients of other central IL chiropractors (Dr. Todd gets cold laser referrals from 7 other area chiropractors), other central IL residents and other healthcare providers as well.  "We have already had Chiropractors from other cities and states join us, as well as people who work in Medical Clinics" states Dr. Todd.  In fact, at the September 2015 Light Night, we had chiropractors who joined us from both Arnold, MO & Quincy, IL.  Both visiting D.C.s were super-excited about the info they learned from Todd & Gena about Cold Lasers and FIR Therapy which they can now take back to their own practices."

All Light Night attendees got to try out one of the clinic's medium sized FIR mats.  One lucky attendee who was experiencing plantar fasciitis, a common foot ailment, received both a complimentary cold laser therapy session and a miniature size FIR MAT session to her involved foot, just like a patient would recieve, while Dr. Todd explained what he was doing and why he was doing it to the onlookers.  Light Night will return to AFC in May of 2016.
