My Little Jules Boutique “Goes Gold” for Children with Cancer

SAFETY HARBOR, Fla. - Sept. 25, 2015 - PRLog -- Safety Harbor, FL – Local kids clothing boutique My Little Jules (http://www.mylittlejules.com/Default.asp) “Goes Gold” during the last weekend of September to help raise awareness and benefit Tampa Bay children with cancer.  Proceeds from Shop With a Cause fundraiser (http://www.mylittlejules.com/go_gold_s/29443.htm) hosted by My Little Jules will go to Children’s Cancer Center (http://www.childrenscancercenter.org) of Tampa, helping children and their families cope with this devastating illness.

On September 25 through September 27, My Little Jules patrons are invited to shop selected “gold” products on My Little Jules website. All are welcome to participate. Proceeds from sales will go to Children’s Cancer Center.

“Our goal as a company is to give back to the community and support local children and families,” - says Tatiana Tugbaeva, Owner of My Little Jules and a mother of two. “My grandmother and uncle passed away from cancer and my mom is a cancer-survivor. I know how devastating this disease is. This is especially true for kids whose bodies and minds are still developing.”

Tugbaeva adds “I can only imagine how heartbreaking it is for the whole family when a child has cancer. It is a difficult battle, which is why community support is so important. Children’s Cancer Center provides that support by being there every step of the way. Shop With a Cause fundraiser is way for us to contribute to their mission. ”

Children’s Cancer Center supports children and families by providing educational, emotional and financial relief necessary to cope with the illnesses. It is a local non-profit organization dedicated to serving over 950 Tampa Bay families of children with cancer and chronic blood disorders.

Childhood cancer is the number one disease killer of children in the United States. Every day 43 children in the United States are diagnosed with cancer. Gold ribbon represents pediatric cancer, while September is childhood cancer awareness month.

“This fundraiser is a part of our community giving program,” Tugbaeva said. “For this this fundraiser, we are teaming up with other businesses to make a greater impact on our local families, children and women.”
