WASHINGTON - Sept. 25, 2015 - PRLog -- In order to openly condemn Communist China for its intent to take over the entire South China Sea (known in Vietnam as the Eastern Sea) in the arena of American public opinion and the world, The People’s Force to Save Vietnam (PFSV) has published an Open Letter in the daily newspaper, The Washington Times (TWT), in its issue of Friday 25 September, 2015, the day the Chinese president Xi-Jinping arrived at the White House. The Open Letter is 700 words long, in color and printed on a full page in the news section of TWT, addressed to the American president Barack Obama, and signed by Mr. Tran Quoc Bao, chairman of the Executive Co-ordination Council of the PFSV.

This is not the first time the PFSV uses “political advertising” to publicize its political platforms and raise international public awareness. In February 2011, the PFSV also published an Open Letter in the daily newspaper USA Today, congratulating the Egyptian People on their liberation from dictatorship. Prior to this event, The Vietnam Restoration Party, one of the 3 constituent organizations forming the PFSV, continuously published open letters in the Washington Post in 1990, 2005 and 2006, and in the New York Times in 2008.

The PFSV was established in February 2010 with the participation of community activists and organizations with enduring political legacies from the 1970s, including The Saigon for Saigon Movement, Dong Tam Association and the Vietnam Restoration Party. At the beginning of 2011, the PFSV proclaimed the “Campaign for Truth in politics” and in May, 2011, established Radio Đáp Lời Sông Núi (AKA Vietnam Democracy Radio) broadcasting daily to Vietnam and continuing today, on the wavelength of the former BBC Vietnamese program. In order to further this campaign, at the beginning of 2015, the PFSV launched the documentary film “The Red Peril- the True Face of the Communist Party of Vietnam”.
