Behind the Line with Elephant Walk South End’s Chef Nadsa de Monteiro

Born in Cambodia and raised in Yugoslavia, the Philippines, Taiwan and France, Monteiro draws on her international background for inspiration in her dishes. She will emerge from Elephant Walk’s renowned kitchen and into the BCAE’s state-of-the-art kitchen facilities for a one session interactive cooking class. The unique fusion of traditional Cambodian cuisine and French fare will make for a stand-out experience for all attendees. Under her guidance, students will learn how to create the perfect dishes for the fall months and leave everyone wanting more!

With Behind the Line, there is something for everyone, as a student can sign up to be a “sous chef”and work hands on with the Monteiro on preparing the dishes, or choose to sit back and relax by choosing“dinner guest,” which gives attendees the freedom to sip on wine and take in the preparation, all while simply waiting to enjoy the final product.
