Monthly PADI IDCs at the Gili Islands

GILI AIR, Indonesia - Sept. 24, 2015 - PRLog -- Every month a PADI IDC Gili at Oceans 5 Gili Air in Indonesia

In 2016 Oceans 5 will offer every month a PADI IDC in conjunction the IDC Gili Islands. A PADI IDC stands for PADI Instructor Development Course. People who are already a PADI Divemaster or equivalent from another dive organization and they like to continue their professional career can join this program to become a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor.

The program at Oceans 5 takes 12-14 days. But before the program starts there is a PADI IDC preparation. This is a FREE program where the candidates can brush their diving skills and dive theory. Oceans 5 also offers this program up to 3 weeks before the IDC starts FREE fundives.

Oceans 5 has an experienced IDC staff. The staff consists of 2 PADI Course Directors, a PADI Master Instructor and 4 PADI IDC Staff Instructors. The main advantage is that all the staff is in the house staff and will help the Instructor candidates anytime.

In 2016 Oceans offers a monthly PADI IDC at Gili Air. It will gives the candidates the opportunity to do an instructor course when it fits best for them. The IDC can be conducted in the following languages: English, Dutch, French, German, Spanish and Bahasa Indonesia. This is a main advantage compared to other IDC centers where the IDC only can be conducted in English by the PADI Course Director.

During the PADI IDC, Oceans 5 has a lot of EXTRA workshops. There will be a CESA (controlled emergency swimming ascent), Knots, Rescue, Control of students in the pool, Control of Students in the ocean, Compas, Liftbags, search patterns workshops. Oceans 5 trains the candidates to become real instructors and not only to pass the PADI Instructor Examination.
