Award Winning App Provides Next Generation Experience as 2015 Festival Audience Grows

DENVER - Sept. 23, 2015 - PRLog -- Today, The1stMovement (The1stMovement.com), a digital agency focused on best in-class digital solutions, released the 2015 update of the official mobile app, My GABF, for the Great American Beer Festival® that will deliver a next generation experience for fans.

The Great American Beer Festival, the premier U.S. beer festival and competition, takes place September 24 – 26 in Denver, Colorado at the Colorado Convention Center. The GABF represents the largest collection of U.S. beer served in a public tasting event and private competition each year, bringing together the brewers and diverse beers that make the U.S. the world’s greatest brewing nation.

With more than 750 breweries, several thousand beers and hundreds of thousands of square feet of hall space at the GABF, the latest advancements in the app will allow attendees to navigate the festival seamlessly, experiencing everything that the festival has to offer.

“Our audience continues to evolve their thirst for unique experiences at the Great American Beer Festival,” explained Cindy Jones, web director at The Brewers Association. “We’re thrilled to partner with the The1stMovement to launch the My GABF app for a third year, now offering even more features and enhancements to elevate the overall festival experience for fans.”

This year, the mobile app features new enhancements aimed to increase social sharing capabilities, the ability for fans to save data from one year to the next and to easily explore the festival.

New features for this year’s mobile app include:

·         GABF-themed Photo Booth – Users can click on the camera icon to step up their selfie game with fun GABF-themed frames that can be shared on Instagram or Facebook.

·         Connect to Facebook and Save Tasting Notes to the Cloud - Utilizing Facebook Connect and the cloud, fans can store tasting notes from the beers they’ve sampled to reference for years to come.

·         The addition of links to the GABF Event Schedule + Exhibitor List, where fans can easily navigate the festival and more than 750 breweries available.
