LEPONTIS French Wines Delight Attendees during Summer Series of Events

PONS, France - Sept. 23, 2015 - PRLog -- To celebrate memorable music and fun times, LEPONTIS Wines kicked off its summer events series as a sponsor of the 22^nd Cognac Blues Passions Festival. On July 2^nd, as fans grooved to Benjamin Booker and Lenny Kravitz, VIP guests were invited to an exclusive tasting of LEPONTIS’ premium IGP Charentais wines. While enjoying the night’s lineup of blues talent, guests got to savor the award-winning 2014 vintage of LEPONTIS Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Rosé and Merlot.

“Getting our brand in front of Millennial drinkers is really important to us,” said Pierre Naud, brand manager. “LEPONTIS’ brand image is reflects our target consumer – young, easygoing and open-minded. We aim to change perceptions of French wines being stuffy and pretentious.”

The following week on July 10^th, in association with the Charentais Wine Producers’ Union, LEPONTIS Wines partnered with the Francofolies Music Festival of La Rochelle. For the 30^th edition of one of the country’s largest French-only music festivals, LEPONTIS wines were available for tasting at the VIP area and for purchase by the glass at each of the festival’s three bars. “LEPONTIS is all about sharing good times with your loved ones,” said Geneviève Rohé, marketing coordinator. “Having a glass of wine outside with friends and great live music is such a nice way to enjoy your summer.”

On July 28^th, LEPONTIS and its French distributor Winetailors partnered with the “Week of the Vigiers” Golf Tournament in Dordogne. Unique in France, the week-long competition allows golfers to discover France’s most beautiful winegrowing regions with workshops and guided tastings by 16 winemakers. Off the course, golfers were able to discover the IGP Charentais wine region with a tasting led by Pierre Naud. The winegrowing zone, which covers nearly 5,000 square miles around the town of Cognac, grows a wide number of popular international varieties.

This fall, LEPONTIS Wines will be present at the 2015 Megavino Wine Fair in Brussels, Belgium from Oct 23^rd to Oct 26^th. Visit us at the French Pavilion to try our wines!
