Sterlite Cricket Trophy 2015 - Valediction & Prize Distribution

THOOTHUKKUDI, India - Sept. 23, 2015 - PRLog -- Sterlite Copper, a unit of Vedanta Limited in association with Pandarampatti Youth Club organized Sterlite Cricket Trophy 2015 at Pandarampatti. The tournament was held on league-cum-knock out format with the matches consisting of 12 Overs a team.

Totally 32 cricket teams participated in this tournament in and around Thoothukudi. A sound mind and a sound body will promote human development and community also. Hence, consecutively for the second year this tournament is conducted by Sterlite Copper.

The final match was played between Thoothukudi VCC Club Team and Pandarampatti ASI Club Team. ASI Club won the toss and elected to bat first, scored 60 runs in 12 Overs. Batting second, VCC Club achieved the target in 8.4 Overs losing 5 wickets. VCC Club team won the second edition of Sterlite Cricket Trophy 2015.

Dr R Kailasam, Chief Medical Officer & Head CSR, Sterlite Copper presented Championship Trophy & Cash Award to VCC Club team and Runners Up Trophy & Cash Award to ASI Club team on 20.09.2015 at Pandarampatti.
