Wahsega Labs Launches IP Paging Zone Controller with InformaCast®

ATLANTA - Sept. 22, 2015 - PRLog -- Wahsega Labs, Inc. (Wahsega), the designer and manufacturer of the highest quality VoIP endpoints in the market, launched its IP Paging Zone Controller with InformaCast^® today.

The Wahsega IP Paging Zone Controller with InformaCast is an IP endpoint that seamlessly integrates with Singlewire Software LLC’s InformaCast Advanced Notification System. It allows audio messages received on the network to be sent on two line-level outputs, each of which operates as an independent audio channel. This enables users to easily send simultaneous broadcasts to amplifiers in multiple zones.

The Wahsega IP Paging Zone Controller with InformaCast is powered via Power-over-Ethernet (PoE 802.3af) and supports live, pre-recorded or ad hoc broadcasts of high-quality (44.1kHz) and low-quality (8kHz) InformaCast audio. The USA-manufactured internal circuitry has a rugged aluminum housing with three standard 35mm DIN Rail (top-hat) slots for easy mounting in any orientation on bottom or side and can withstand industrial operating temperatures from −40°C to +85°C.

Configuration of the Wahsega IP Paging Zone Controller with InformaCast is incredibly simple thanks to the InformaCast server software provided by Singlewire. Once integrators and installers connect the Wahsega device to the local network where the InformaCast server resides, it will automatically be recognized and registered. In addition, the IP Paging Zone Controller with InformaCast may also be configured through an included Web interface, accessible via any browser on any device in the local network.
