LOS ANGELES - Sept. 22, 2015 - PRLog -- George McAuliffe’s one-man show and recent award winner of iO West’s ‘Best Scripted Show’ returns to the iO West stage in October.

Through the combination of satire, current events and McAuliffe’s unique imagination, Not All Cops Are Bad gives an equitable take on the hot button issue of police brutality. As Officer Scott Baker, McAuliffe hosts a public relations meeting in an attempt to justify the “occasional abuse of power” by the police department in the fictitious town of Carlyle.

George is a former teacher on the South Side of Chicago who was raised in St. Louis. While teaching, he wrote and performed critically acclaimed comedy in Chicago at iO Chicago and The Annoyance Theatre. Some of his credits include contributing writer for The Onion News Network, comedic plays at The Annoyance Theatre and sketch comedy at the TBS Just For Laughs Festival and The Not Inappropriate Show with Bob Odenkirk.

Not All Cops Are Bad! will be at iO West, October 3, 10, 17 and 24th at 8PM. Tickets are $10. The iO West Theater is located at 6366 Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles, CA. The box office number is 323-962-7575.
