RIO Car Wash Conducts Third Annual Charity Car Wash and raises $6,396 to benefit EmpowerHouse

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. - Sept. 22, 2015 - PRLog -- Fredericksburg, VA – On Saturday September 19th, Rio Car Wash hosted a charity car wash event at both of its Fredericksburg area locations, at 70 Sebring Dr. and 10050 Jefferson Davis Highway in Massaponax. Rio Car Wash donated 100 percent of the car wash sales for a total of $6,396.00 to the not-for-profit organization, EmpowerHouse. “We are so pleased with the outcome of this year’s event and the fact that we were able to help such a great cause for a third year in a row,” said Jeff Small, owner of Rio Car Wash. “Empower House is an organization that we at Rio Car Wash are very passionate about. We are thrilled that this event brought in not only donations, but also more local exposure for Empower House.”

         EmpowerHouse is a non-profit organization providing confidential domestic violence assistance in the city of Fredericksburg and the counties of Stafford, Spotsylvania, King George, and Caroline since 1978. These services include a free and confidential 24-hour hotline, a temporary emergency shelter, information, referrals, and advocacy.

         Rio Car Wash began in 1995. Since that time they have grown to four locations in Virginia and feature state of the art, all soft cloth equipment and premium brand automotive car care products. A complete range of auto exterior wash services are offered, including express detailing at the Sebring Drive location. Vacuums are free for customers at all locations. Rio Car Wash seeks to minimize its impact on the environment by using reclaimed, treated and recycled water and safe, biodegradable, phosphate-free wash solutions. The company is committed to giving back to the community through charitable support for local organizations.
