Kick-Off Meeting Scheduled for the New Warren Business Association

WARREN, Mich. - Sept. 19, 2015 - PRLog -- On Tuesday, October 6, the Warren Business Association will be holding its kick-off meeting for people interested in learning more about this new organization.  The meeting will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Community Choice Credit Union located at 7415 Chicago Rd. in Warren.

The organization is being started by Mark Tremper, who is a Warren resident and entrepreneur, along with the support of other businesses in the city.  Mark has been involved in many different types of business associations and chambers of commerce and saw the need for this type of organization in Warren.

“Warren (http://www.cityofwarren.org/) is the 3^rd largest city in the State of Michigan and is #9 on the Forbes  ‘Best Places for Business and Careers (http://www.forbes.com/best-places-for-business/list/#tab:overall)’ for 2015,” says Mark, “and it is important to have a local city-based network dedicated to helping Warren businesses get connected with the people, tools, and resources they need to build their business.”

The Warren Business Association plans to be an active group with three meetings per month at various times of the day so that all business owners, salespeople, and other business representatives will have the opportunity to get involved.  Meetings will be held at various member businesses so that members will gain first-hand knowledge of how these businesses operate and the products and services they provide.

Members will receive a weekly e-newsletter which will keep them up-to-date on upcoming activities and events, including those being held by other nearby Chambers and business associations.  Future plans will be to provide business workshops, mastermind groups, community expos, and other activities requested by its members.
