Mclean Offers Special “Discovery Days” Events For Home Buyers

BELMONT, N.C. - Sept. 18, 2015 - PRLog -- McLean (http://discovermclean.com/), a 670-acre master planned community on the shores of Lake Wylie, will showcase plans for its first neighborhood, South Shore, with special property tours and home information for prospective purchasers beginning Saturday September 26.

“Discovery Days” preview events are planned on weekends beginning September 26 through October 11. The events will feature the South Shore neighborhood and its initial lakeside custom home and estate home offerings. McLean’s flagship community, South Shore offers five miles of unspoiled shoreline with home sites of 1/2-acre to more than an acre in size.

“Fall is a great time to visit the site and see what makes it so special,” said Steven Hinshaw, principal of NW Lake Wylie LLC, the developer of McLean. “The natural landscape is gorgeous under these conditions. We're hoping home buyers will visit and imagine what lakefront living in South Shore can be.”

The Discovery Days are scheduled on Saturdays 11 a.m.-4 p.m. and Sundays 1-4 p.m. Representatives of custom and estate home builders for South Shore will be on site to share home information and lead property tours. Participating builders include John Wieland Homes & Neighborhoods, Peachtree Residential, Andrew Roby, McSpadden Custom Homes, New Old, Arthur Rutenberg Homes, Fairwood Construction and J. Barwick Construction.

South Shore will offer a variety of lakefront, lake-view, pond-view and estate homes built by an accomplished builder group.  Actual home construction is expected to start in early October, and home prices will range from the upper $400,000s to more than $2 million based on property view, home size, finishes and design. South Shore will have architectural design guidelines and standards established for the community.
